Alrighty Girls. Today we are putting up what new school supplies we have.
I have two boxes to keep my semester's worth of work in. One holds the assignments, then when I'm finished I place them in the second box. My mom then corrects the work and switches the boxes around and adds in the new assignments.
I have new notebooks that have fancy designs, that we got at Target. New pencils of course and new educational websites my mom found and gives me assignments from. I'll be posting about them each week to let you know what I'm learning from them. This last week I learned about World War II and the way the children lived during those days.
I'm still using Math-U-See for Math and Abeka for Spelling.
So what are your new supplies this year? Put your link in the MckLinky below:

Verse 1 For a long time I traveled Down a long lonely road; My heart was so heavy in sin I sank low. Then I heard about Jesus, What a wonderful hour; I’m so glad that I found out He would bring me out Through His saving power.
Chorus: Thank God I am free, free, free From this world of sin. Washed in the blood of Jesus, I’ve been born again. Hallelujah, I’m saved, saved, saved By His wonderful grace. I’m so glad that I found out He could bring me out And show me the way.
Verse 2 Like a bird out of prison That has taken its flight; Like a blind man that God Gave back his sight. Like a poor wretched beggar That’s found fortune and fame, I’m so glad that I found out He could bring me out Thro’ His holy name.
Chorus: Thank God I am free, free, free From this world of sin. Washed in the blood of Jesus, I’ve been born again. Hallelujah, I’m saved, saved, saved By His wonderful grace. I’m so glad that I found out He could bring me out And show me the way.
1.There is a Name I love to hear, I love to sing its worth; It sounds like music in my ear, The sweetest Name on earth. * Refrain: Oh, how I love Jesus, Oh, how I love Jesus, Oh, how I love Jesus, Because He first loved me!
2. It tells me of a Savior’s love, Who died to set me free; It tells me of His precious blood, The sinner’s perfect plea.
3. It tells me of a Father’s smile Beaming upon His child; It cheers me through this little while, Through desert, waste, and wild.
4. It tells me what my Father hath In store for every day, And though I tread a darksome path, Yields sunshine all the way.
5. It tells of One whose loving heart Can feel my deepest woe; Who in each sorrow bears a part That none can bear below.
6. It bids my trembling heart rejoice; It dries each rising tear; It tells me, in a “still small voice,” To trust and never fear.
7. Jesus, the Name I love so well, The Name I love to hear: No saint on earth its worth can tell, No heart conceive how dear.
8. This Name shall shed its fragrance still Along this thorny road, Shall sweetly smooth the rugged hill That leads me up to God.
9. And there with all the blood-bought throng, From sin and sorrow free, I’ll sing the new eternal song Of Jesus’ love for me.
We're planning a teen homeschool blog hop called Preppin' Up right here From The Learning Room. We will begin next week on Monday August 10th. It doesn't matter when you actually get started in your homeschool, the posts will remain active until September 15th. So get your posts ready to bring back on Monday. That's when my Mr. McKlinky will be ready to go!

This song is called When you believe and it is in Hebrew. The translation is at the bottom of it. In the Hebrew language you will see in a word the 'ch' you have to pronounce it like you are scoffing. The video is at the bottom. Hebrew:

Translated to English:
Many nights we've prayed with no proof anyone could hear In our hearts a hopeful song We barely understood Now we are not afraid Although we know there's much to fear We were moving mountains Long before we ever knew we could
There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail It's hard to kill Who knows what miracles You can achieve When you believe Somehow you will You will when you believe
In this time of fear When prayer so often proved in vain Hope seemed like the summer birds Too swiftly flown away Yet now I'm standing here With heart so full I can't explain Seeking faith and speaking words I never thought I'd say
There can be miracles when you believe Though hope is frail It's hard to kill Who knows what miracles You can achieve When you believe Somehow you will You will when you believe...
A-shi-ra la-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah A-shi-ra la-do-nai ki ga-oh ga-ah Mi-cha-mo-cha ba-elim adonai Mi-ka-mo-cha ne-dar- ba-ko-desh Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta Na-chi-tah v'-chas-d'-cha am zu ga-al-ta A-shi-ra, a-shi-ra, a-shi-ra...
There can be miracles When you believe Though hope is frail It's hard to kill Who knows what miracles
You can achieve When you believe Somehow you will Now you will You will when you believe
